About Katy:

I am multiply neurodivergent, and I focus on working with neurodivergent adults and couples, including Gifted, 2e (Twice-Exceptional = Gifted + Disabled), Autistic, ADHDer, and Highly Sensitive people.

With a background in theater, filmmaking, music, writing, dance, gardening, and bodywork, my professional and personal life has been greatly influenced by my fascination with each of our unique stories, practices of embodiment and creativity, and connections to the natural world.

I have a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology, with an emphasis in Somatics, from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco.

I offer Individual Therapy, Couples Counseling, Giftedness/Neurodiversity Consultation, and Clinical Supervision.

I firmly believe in embracing diversity of race, neurotype, and gender, and work with a lens of social justice and cultural humility.

I tailor my approach to suit each person, but my work is influenced by the Neurodiversity movement, Brainspotting, Somatics, Neuroscience, Mindfulness, Ecotherapy, Expressive Arts, Trauma Theory, Cross Culturalism, Attachment Theory, Narrative Therapy, and Mythology.

Since I don't know what path you are on, I can't tell you exactly how our work together would look. However, I can tell you this much: I will accept you. I will see the light in you, even when you only see the darkness. I will help you return to the present moment. I will help you (re)discover what feeds your soul.

My goal is for you to not just survive, but truly thrive, in mind, body and spirit.

"Not all those who wander are lost."
